Syd Norman’s Pour House

Syd Norman’s Pour House has been Olivia’s most rewarding challenge to date. It is a high energy rock show that incorporates powerhouse vocals, iconic musical figures as well as audience interaction. It has taught Olivia how to navigate singing in such a demanding style five times a week on board a cruise ship, where fresh air is not high on the agenda!

One of these shows is a tribute to Fleetwood Mac, where the cast sing the Rumours album top to bottom and share the dramatic backstory with the audience in between songs. Olivia has taken a lot of pride in capturing the essence of Stevie Nicks within her performance.

Olivia has appeared in the cast of Syd Norman’s Pour House on multiple ships with Norwegian Cruise Line: The Breakaway, The Prima and most recently, The Luna where she was part of the inaugural cast of A tribute to the Eagles (the highest scoring inaugural show to date) as well as Semi-Charmed: a 90’s Rockapolusa. In addition, Olivia was made show captain, giving her the added responsibility of maintaining the integrity of the shows, giving vocal notes to her peers and creating re-blocks to the shows when needed.

Not only has Syd Norman’s Pour House brought out Olivia’s inner rockstar, but it allowed her to continue to live and work with her husband, something she will always be grateful for and already looks back on this time of their lives with the fondest of memories.
